Chicago to Santa Monica | June 7-19, 2026
A curated journey across Route 66 for classic vehicles, families, and storytellers.
This is not a free-for-all road trip. It is a handpicked group of drivers crossing America together, sharing stories, solving problems, chasing sunsets, and building something bigger than the classics themselves.
Application-based. Story-driven. Built around people, vehicles, and unforgettable miles.

Historic pavement, highway miles, heat, rain, repairs, and the kind of days you remember because you earned them.
Landmarks, diners, partner locations, small towns, and the roadside places that make Route 66 more than a line on a map.
A handpicked group that values the convoy as much as the vehicle.
Professional photo, video, and editorial coverage built around real vehicles and real miles.
From the neon-lit diners of Illinois to the Pacific breezes of California, we trace the original alignment of America's most iconic highway.
Created from an existing classic-vehicle media audience.
Built for vehicles with stories, craft, and real-road credibility.
Event experience from classics-first gatherings like Beach Bonanza.
Application-vetted. Small by design. Every spot earned.

“These places are 100 years old. Some may not see 101.”
Across the Mother Road
Beyond the convoy, this site becomes a field guide to the Mother Road: stops, motels, diners, landmarks, and the places worth pulling over for.

“I wanted to drive Route 66 before it was too late.”
Not just to say I did it. Not as a polished tour or a corporate spectacle. I wanted to do it the right way: in old American cars and trucks, with good people, stopping at the places that made the road famous and meeting the people still keeping it alive.
Route 66 turns 100 in 2026, the same year America turns 250. That matters. This road has carried families, dreamers, soldiers, workers, racers, road-trippers, and generations of people chasing something better. No highway tells the American story quite like the Mother Road.
The Mother Road Run exists to experience it, document it, and help preserve the stories before more neon goes dark, more buildings disappear, and more history gets forgotten.
This is not about rushing from Chicago to California. It is about the road, the towns, the landmarks, the vehicles, and the people in the mirrors.

Three tiers, one curated 13-day convoy. Supporting Partner, Featured Supporting Partner, or Official Partner, each shaped around how you actually want to show up.

If you run a restaurant, shop, dealership, or attraction along the route, the convoy can pull in. A line of classic cars and trucks, a content crew, and an audience already paying attention.

25-50 classics. 2,500+ miles. One centennial run. Apply while the road is still calling.
