The truck that made a generation fall in love with lifted Fords; a full-circle pilgrimage for classic-truck people.
What we experienced
This one was personal. My family visited Bigfoot when I was a kid — there are photos of me standing next to this exact truck — so pulling into Pacific in my own dentside was a full-circle stop, and "a little kid in a candy store" is about right. Bigfoot #1 is still there and still in remarkable condition, down to the pinstriping and the Bigfoot-branded shocks. I climbed into one of the tires and stood up inside it; I am six foot three, for scale.
