This one was not on the plan — I was driving past, saw the porcelain signs covering the walls, and pulled in. Harley Russell told us he was 80 and had been there half his life; he and his wife Annabelle started the place in 1986, and it began by accident, when a busload of visitors from the UK asked to come inside. He walked us around the room himself: the poster Annabelle made for the Disney Imagineers who came twice for Cars Land, the framed Pixar invitation to the premiere, the world's biggest pocket knife. He sent us off with one of his picks.
